Welcome to the Ipswich Bus Preservation Group.

This Group was founded back in August 2010, with the intent to save and preseve a couple of Ipswich vehicles.
The first vehicle which the IBPG acquired was ex Ipswich 189, an Optare Excel which was new on Park and Ride duties. Our second purchase was from IB, Ipswich 47, an Leyland Olympian although new to London Transport it has served with Ipswich for over 10 years and has many Ipswich features and carries local ECW body. The Third vehicle is ex Ipswich 190, an Optare Excel but from the Town fleet. the IBPG are always on the lookout for other Ipswich and other vehicles to preserve and for Photo's of any of the buses in our collection, if you have any photo's of them for the IBPG please get in contact with us.
